A man has had a lucky escape after he was hit by an out-of-control car that crashed into a shopfront in Sydney's south-west.
The man, aged in his 20s, was thrown into a rack of clothing, breaking his fall, as the car came up on to a footpath on Monday afternoon.
The car crashed into the Wholesaler Clearance store on Queen Street, Campbelltown, smashing its plate glass windows.
The man was taken to hospital but was released on Monday night with minor injuries.
Police are investigating the incident, which is believed to have occurred when the driver was trying to park outside the store.
