Sydney ferries resume after heavy fog - Ninemsn



October 29, 2013: Thick fog has blanketed Sydney, causing flight delays at Sydney Airport and forcing ferry cancelations across the Harbour.



SEE TIMELAPSE OF FOG ROLL IN Sydney ferries have resumed operating between Manly and Circular Quay after services were suspended due to fog.




But passengers should allow extra travel time on Tuesday morning because ferries "may operate at a reduced speed", the Transport Management Centre (TMC) advises.


The TMC says passengers can continue to use ferry tickets, including Opal Cards, on Sydney Buses between Manly and Circular Quay until 8am (AEDT).


Early today, visibility dropped to as low as 100 metres in some parts of Sydney due to heavy fog.



October 29, 2013: Flight delays at Sydney Airport are expected this morning as a thick fog blankets the city.
