Cape Breton Regional Police are investigating after a man’s body was found along the shoreline of Sydney Harbour, near the Government Wharf, early Tuesday.
Police were called to the area just before 10 a.m.
Police spent Tuesday combing the shoreline for clues. Major crime and forensic units were also called in to investigate.
Police do not believe the man is associated with a visiting cruise ship.
An autopsy has been scheduled to determine a cause of death.
Police do not suspect foul play.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
