INFRASTRUCTURE expert Sir Rod Eddington says Melbourne Airport's planned third runway will help it keep its edge over Sydney and help attract business to the city and the state.
The chairman of advisory authority Infrastructure Australia said it was timely to discuss when the $500 million runway, which must get federal approval, should be built at Tullamarine.
