A 78-YEAR-OLD Sydney man has been bashed by two knife-wielding intruders who broke into his home and stole his television.
Police say the men forced their way into the elderly man's Redfern unit about 2am (AEST) on Monday.
They bashed him and stole his wallet and television before fleeing.
The man was taken to St Vincent's Hospital where he's undergoing treatment for a suspected fractured eye socket and bruising to his torso and face.
