Two men forced their way into the house on Greenbank Drive at Werrington Downs about 8.20pm (AEDT) on Thursday, police said in a statement.
The men threatened a woman, 41, and a 14-year-old girl who were inside at the time, before assaulting a 25-year-old man who returned home during the invasion.
The 25-year-old was taken to Nepean hospital for treatment to cuts to the back of his head.
No one else was injured in the incident.
Police say the wanted men are aged in their 20s, about 175cm tall, and had a number of tattoos.
