THE world's biggest boy band has touched down in Sydney.
One Direction were greeted by a crowd of hysterical teenage girls as they left Sydney Airport this afternoon in blacked out vans.
Harry Styles, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson hid behind sunglasses as they were protected by security guards and police.
Fellow members Niall Horan and Liam Payne were expected to join the boys at their Sydney Harbour hotel.
The band's private jet was reportedly grounded by Sydney Airport's tight curfew last night.
They had seemingly planned to arrive in Sydney following their final Melbourne concert, but the curfew prevents late night touch downs.
One Direction will enjoy a night off tonight before performing sold-out shows on Saturday and Sunday at the Allphones Arena at Sydney Olympic Park.
