Sydney police car involved in crash - Ninemsn


A woman is in hospital after a police vehicle collided with her car in Sydney's southwest.




NSW Police say officers were responding to an urgent domestic-related incident with lights and sirens about 3pm (AEST) on Sunday when their marked car collided with another car in Bradbury.


A woman aged in her 60s sustained chest injuries.


Police said in a statement the woman was taken to Liverpool Hospital as a precaution.


Two police officers suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene.


Police say a critical incident team would investigate all circumstances surrounding the incident, including compliance with a safe driver policy.


The Professional Standards Command will oversee the investigation.


Police are appealing for any witnesses to the crash at the St John's Road and Appin Street intersection.
