A MAN will undergo surgery for multiple stab wounds following an attack in Sydney's west.
A 29-year-old man arrived at Fairfield Hospital suffering stab wounds to his abdomen and lacerations to his forearms and face about 1.30am (AEDT) on Tuesday, police said.
He was later transferred to Liverpool Hospital where he will undergo surgery and is currently in a serious but stable condition.
Police arrived at an address in Hamilton Street, South Wentworthville where a crime scene has been secured.
A man who resides at the home and a woman who drove the man to hospital are currently assisting police with their inquiries.
