DYNAMIC young trainer Chris Waller can continue his golden run with Kelinni in today's Group 1 Sydney Cup at Royal Randwick.

Waller notched two Group 1 wins in the Oaks and Doncaster last week and on the same program Kelinni gave notice he is the horse to beat in the Cup with a last-to-first victory under 60kg in the 2000m JRA Plate.

Kelinni showed the 3200m trip will hold no fears by finishing fourth in the Melbourne Cup, a much stronger race, last November and he is going even better now.

Race 1 (12.25)

Betting: $1.55 Toydini, $6 Kingdoms, $8 Usainity, $17 Hawkspur, Cameo, $18 Laser Flash

Comment: Toydini has demolished his opposition in winning the Phar Lap (1500m) and the Carbine Club (1600m) at his latest two runs and the 2000m trip is the only query. Kingdoms' runs in the Rosehill Guineas and particularly the Derby behind It's A Dundeel have been first rate and he is the obvious danger. Usainity comes from New Zealand as the winner of three from six, but this looks tougher grade.

Bet: 1 Toydini

Exotics: Quinella 1 Toydini, 3 Kingdoms

Race 2 (1.04)

Betting: $3.80 Meidung, $4.20 Catkins, $4.60 Driefontein, $7 Gullible

Comment: Driefontein had a shot at the stumps at 2000m last run and found it too far, but her previous form at shorter distances was against terrific opposition. Catkins is honest, but only just got there at Canterbury last run. Meidung will be the one powering home and has a Melbourne listed win over 1400m on her scoresheet. Gullible, trapped deep last run, is the knockout hope.

Bet: 1 Driefontein

Exotics: Quinella 1 Driefontein, 3 Meidung

Race 3 (1.40)

Betting: $3.60 Xanadu, $3.80 Skyerush, $6 Say No More, $7 Raspberries, $11 Plucky Belle

Comment: Skyerush has the local form with a last-start win over this course in the Doncaster Prelude. Xanadu is a last-start G1 winner in NZ who stretched Ocean Park last campaign and Say No More, now with Chris Waller, also has top NZ form but has raced just twice in the past 12 months. Raspberries is consistent and a chance and Cathay Lady is the only leader and could get a soft run.

Bet: 3 Skyerush

Exotics: Box trifecta 2 Xanadu, 3 Skyerush, 4 Raspberries, 7 Cathay Lady

Race 4 (2.15)

Betting: $1.35 It's A Dundeel, $8 Reliable Man, $9 Silent Achiever, $14 Manighar

Comment: It's A Dundeel completed the triple crown with runaway wins in the Rosehill Guineas and Derby and he should win. Don't underrate Reliable Man. He is high- class and caught the eye behind Pierro in the George Ryder at his first Aussie start. Silent Achiever has been close up in three WFA races and is a chance again and Manighar's last- start fourth in the Ryder was encouraging.

Bet: 9 It's A Dundeel

Exotics: Quinella 2 Reliable Man, 9 It's A Dundeel

Race 5 (2.55)

Betting: $2.90 Guelph, $5.50 Criterion , $6 Fast 'N' Rocking, $6.50 Scandiva, $11 Riocetto

Comment: Not a lot of speed with Equator likely to lead from Scandiva and Diva Dee with the Snowden pair, Guelph and Champollion, likely to race a little closer. Guelph's win in the Sires (1400m) was terrific and there is no reason she won't run this trip. Criterion and Fast 'N' Rocking are two high-class colts who will be rattling home. Riocetto won well last week and is an improver.

Bet: 11 Guelph

Exotics: Box trifecta 1 Riocetto, 2 Criterion, 3 Fast 'N' Rocking, 11 Guelph

Race 6 (3.35)

Betting: $3 Kelinni, $4.40 Maluckyday, $8.50 Julienas, Tremec, $10 Blood Brotha, Aliyana Tilde

Comment: Julienas should lead from Mourayan with Tremec close up. Kelinni and Maluckyday are both proven 3200m horses and both ran great races in the BMW three weeks ago. I give the nod to Kelinni who has had a run (a win) since. Blood Brotha is a genuine 3200m galloper with a chance and Mourayan and Tremec can't be ignored. Julienas needs to improve on his last run.

Bet: 4 Kelinni

Exotics: Box trifecta 1 Mourayan, 4 Kelinni, 5 Maluckyday, 6 Blood Brotha

Race 7 (4.15)

Betting: $2.50 More Joyous, $2.70

All Too Hard, $4.80 Epaulette, $14 Rain Affair

Comment: With Rain Affair in front the race will be truly run with no excuses. More Joyous is a marvellous mare, but is she quite as good as 12 months ago? All Too Hard, full of quality, might be a touch better in Melbourne. Don't underrate Epaulette, a G1 winner, who came from near last to run second to Black Caviar in the T.J. Smith. Rangirangdoo is the knockout horse.

Bet: 8 Epaulette

Exotics: Box trifecta 1 Rangirangdoo, 6 More Joyous, 7 All Too Hard, 8 Epaulette

Race 8 (4.52)

Betting: $5.50 Decision Time, $8 Fat Al, Manawanui, $9.50 Rarefied, See The World, Your Song

Comment: A lottery with a dozen queries. Can the class of Fat Al get him home at 1200m first-up, is Manawanui the Manawanui of old, can Decision Time maintain form after a few hard runs, will Somepin Anypin show improvement for Gai Waterhouse? Rarefied's last run was good and he is well suited.

Bet: 10 Rarefied

Exotics: Box trifecta 4 Decision Time, 10 Rarefied, 11 See The World, 13 Somepin Anypin
