Shot fired at Sydney home - The Australian




A SHOT has been fired at a home in Sydney's northwest.



Police were called to Edgewater Drive in Bella Vista about 11.15 pm (AEDT) on Wednesday after the house was fired at.


None of the five people inside were injured, police said.


Meanwhile, a man who was shot in a car in Guildford West is in hospital with non-life threatening wounds to his lower body.


The man was sitting in the driver's seat of a black Audi when a person approached and fired several times in the driver's side door just after 10pm (AEDT) on Wednesday.


Shortly after, a Toyota Camry and a black Mercedes were seen leaving the area, police said.


A Toyota Camry was later found alight in Merrylands West and will be examined to determine whether it's linked to the shooting.
