FIRST ON 7: Two Scotland Yard detectives have interviewed a Sydney woman as part of their investigation of claims made against legendary Australian entertainer Rolf Harris.
Seven News has spoken exclusively with the Wisemans Ferry woman, who alleges she witnessed an incident in London 20 years ago.
We stress that no payment has been made to anybody for this interview.
Detectives from London's Metropolitan police came knocking at Wisemans Ferry at midday.
They had flown to Sydney to interview Lauren Martell over allegations she is making against Rolf Harris.
She contacted British police in November last year, when she first heard of the investigation into sexual assaults, allegedly committed by English TV entertainer Jimmy Saville.
"When I heard his name being bandied around and I'm like, well, I can offer something here," Lauren said.
Saville's crimes are not connected to Harris, but the same taskforce is investigating.
Lauren's allegations are more than 20 years old. She says she didn't report them to police at the time because she thought no one would believe her.
"I was only young, and you know, you don't run around saying Rolf Harris did this, because nobody's going to believe you," she said.
Lauren was 19. It was the early 1990s and she was at a London music studio, where she claims Harris was a musician on an album being recorded.
She claims to have walked in on Harris in a bathroom and witnessed an alleged incident which we can't detail for legal reasons.
“It's quite scary, when you're 19, 20, you're a Kiwi backpacker, and you're in a London studio with people like this, and you see what you see."
Lauren says she's told a lot of people her story over the years and they didn't believe her.
But with detectives from London flying out to formally interview her, she's glad she finally came forward.

Seven News has confirmed that a second woman has made contact with New South Wales police in Wollongong in the past few days, claiming to have information in relation to a separate alleged incident involving Rolf Harris.
That incident is alleged to have occurred in the mid 80's - also in the UK. Police are yet to formally interview the woman.
Mark Williams-Thomas is a criminologist who helped expose Jimmy Saville, and is following the Rolf Harris police investigation.
"As part of the investigation there will be a number of lines of inquiry that the Metropolitan Police will be following up, and as part of that they are going over to Australia to follow up on a number specific lines of inquiry that they need to get answers in relation to," Williams-Thomas said.
It's reported Harris has strenuously denied allegations against him. He's on bail following his arrest in London, and is due to meet again with police later this month.

"He will be formally interviewed again and of course there is then a decision on what the next stage is. The next stage could be charges, it could be no further action, or it could be that he goes back out on bail again in order for them to make further investigations," criminologist Mark Williams-Thomas said.
The two British detectives will be in Australia for at least a week, and Seven News has been told they have two other people in addition to Lauren that they will be speaking to.
Lauren said detectives have asked her whether she will be willing to fly to the UK to testify, and have her allegations tested in court. She said she will
It must be stressed that no charges have been laid against Rolf Harris.
