Blace Caviar arrived safely in Sydney on Thursday morning ahead of Saturday's blockbuster Group I TJ Smith Stakes (1200m).

Trainer Peter Moody has confirmed his mighty mare lobbed at Rosehill at 4am and has enjoyed a light trot and canter ahead of her bid for glory at Randwick on Saturday.

Excitement is mounting ahead of the race with news of the much-anticipated arrival actually broken on Twitter from Black Caviar's own account.

The mare was transported from Melbourne to Sydney by float with the precious cargo arriving on Thursday without any drama.

And in further good news the weather for race day remains perfect with sunshine and temperatures in the mid 20's forecast for Saturday.

Black Caviar, Australia's best horse, will shoot for win No. 25 at Royal Randwick, and Moody found it impossible to fault his brilliant charge when he fronted the media on Thursday.

While Moody did not believe Black Caviar could improve, he was more confident she could continue her winning ways at an ultra-skinny $1.10.

"I'll dare not say she's going better than she ever has, but she's going every bit as good as she ever has," Moody said before the start of the final day of the Australian Easter Yearling Sales.

"I'm always very respectful of opposition, I always have been, and I've never gone into a race thinking we're a good thing.

"We don't make the bookies' prices, but facts and figures suggest not a horse on this planet that can beat her under these conditions and at this distance.

"Usually our biggest worry is misfortune, but 24 times we've been pretty lucky."

Black Caviar has won more than $7 million in prizemoney, and should she win again in the TJ Smith Stakes, will better Kingston Town's record of 14 Group I races.

Sydney trainers are more than happy to take the mare on and said she will have to "earn her pay cheque" after two soft wins south of the border this preparation.
