Good policy beats gender politics - The Australian



JULIA Gillard's rhetorical attacks against Tony Abbott claiming misogyny have failed to lift Labor's poor polling results, which prominent political and feminist commentators blame on the party's policies.



The Opposition Leader's attempts to recast his own image as female-friendly have been mildly successful, but political and community commentators have locked together in agreement, saying the Prime Minister's policy failures have done more harm to Labor than Mr Abbott's renewed magnetism among some voters.
