At the 9th Beijing forum, the closing ceremony is external and political, with a video from Tony Blair extolling spirituality, and Kevin Rudd popping up in campaign mode, prime ministerial manner and a long speech all in Chinese, promoting his “pax pacifica” and the way it would work. He also highlights his Australian-Chinese grand-daughter and his ever active Sina-Weibo presence.
