Pre-Match
Two wins on the bounce have Sydney FC in fifth and Frank Farina would be eyeing off a third at home to winless Wellington Phoenix.
The Sky Blues have fond memories of this fixture season - an inspired Alessandro Del Piero scoring four in a 7-1 drubbing.
Farina's men made short work of the Heart last time out while the Phoenix squad has been carved up by New Zealand's unsuccessful World Cup qualification bid - with six players on the trans-Pacific mission.
Carlos Hernandez could be vital for Wellington - his 20 chances created tops the league - while Costa Rican international Kenny Cunningham could feature after being called into the squad.
Sydney are likely to name the same attacking line that tormented the Heart last weekend, with new signing Ranko Despotovic on the bench.
Kick-off is set for just after 7:30pm.
