Explosion rips through apartment in Sydney's inner west - ABC Local

An explosion has ripped through an apartment in Sydney's inner west.

Police and emergency services were at the scene, and a forensic team was scouring through the charred remnants to try and find the cause.

Residents living in the building on Bridge Road were evacuated, but no one was injured.

It is unknown if the occupant of the apartment was home at the time of the explosion.
