FOUR months after packing up her family and relocating them to California following the shock collapse of her marriage, mother-of-three Erica Packer returned home to Sydney yesterday to reclaim the life she left behind.
The days of flying in private jets appear to be behind Erica now - she flew in on a commercial flight from LA in the morning, her youngest child, 12-month-old daughter Emmanuelle perched contentedly on her hip.

Nowhere to be seen were her other children, Indigo, 5, and Jackson, 3, however the new divorcee did look to have two assistants with her, one of whom was pushing the bags while a second followed at her heels.
She will make her home, Confidential is informed, in the lavish new $50,000 Vaucluse compound her former husband, James Packer, starting developing three years ago.
As Erica flew home on the tail of fresh rumous that she will revert to her maiden name, Confidential learned that when the Packer's marriage starting falling apart midyear, the devastated Erica sought out her mother-in-law, Ros, for guidance on how to best repair her marriage and re-engage her distracted husband.
Sadly we are told the elder Mrs Packer was unable to comfort her daughter-in-law, telling her that Packer wives are expected to put up with much and as one, Erica must fall into line.
