A woman's been dragged about 50 metres by a car during a bag snatch in Sydney's west.
The 54-year-old was walking along the street in Canley Vale about 1.30pm (AEST) on Saturday when a man came from behind and grabbed her bag.
The woman fell but refused to let go of the bag and was dragged along the street to a waiting car.
The woman was still clinging to her bag as the thief got into the car which began to drive off, dragging her about 50 metres until she eventually let go.
She suffered minor scratches.
Police are looking for the bag snatcher and driver of the car, believed to be an older model white Holden.
