Police have charged a 23-year-old man with concealing the shooting of a man in Sydney's south-west earlier this month.

The 21-year-old man was seriously injured after he was shot in the neck during an argument with a group of men outside his home in Greenacre.

Police spokesperson Blake Cliffton says the Middle Eastern Organised Crime Squad arrested the man on Friday.

"The 23-year-old man was interviewed, he's been charged with concealing a serious indictable offence, he's also been charged with affray and two driving offences," he said.

The 23-year-old has been refused bail and will appear in Parramatta Bail Court on Saturday.
