The annual festival of light, music and ideas is set to attract tens of thousands to the city this long weekend for the final days of Vivid Sydney.
Darling Harbour's Vivid Aquatique attracted more than 110,000 people during its first week and it was extended to include more lights, new full-colour lasers and three new water jets, doubling its size.
This weekend, there will be light shows on the hour from 6pm until midnight, plus fireworks shows.
"Darling Harbour has been a wonderful addition to Vivid Sydney this year," said Sandra Chipchase, CEO, Destination NSW.
"It's a real family spectacular."
Catherine Gallagher, CEO of Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority, said: "For businesses in Darling Harbour, the large crowds coming to see the Vivid Aquatique show every night has been very positive. Restaurants, bars, cafes and shops are really buzzing, and there's a great atmosphere."
