Hubby Brad Pitt hailed Angelina Jolie as 'absolutely heroic' after revealing she had a double mastectomy.

BRAD Pitt has arrived in Sydney ahead of the premiere of his hotly anticipated new action film.

Pitt touched down at Sydney airport around 8.10 this morning on private jet.

Customs officers soon boarded the plane and it was wheeled into a hanger for inspection and where private cars are ready to whisk him away to a hotel in the city.

Having attended the premiere of World War Z with his partner Angelina Jolie last week, Pitt is on our shores for the Australian premiere of the hotly anticipated action movie.

Mystery still surrounds whether Jolie has joined him for the trip up the red carpet at The Star this afternoon.
