May 28, 2013: Flights in to Sydney airport are being diverted to Melbourne and Brisbane this morning, with a thick blanket of fog covering most of the city.
Sydney Harbour Bridge is almost invisible this morning as it hides under a blanket of fog.
From the sky, the city's famous arch can barely be made out – a far cry from the spectacular light show of Vivid Festival.

The fog is also causing delays at the airport, with many flights being diverted to Brisbane and Melbourne.
It is expected to lift around 9am AEST.
Motorists are advised to take extreme caution due to reduced visibility on the roads and ferries on the Parramatta River are suspended.
