A Sydney man has been charged with child pornography offences after an investigation involving police from Australia and the UK.
Police allege the 55-year-old participated in online discussions with a man in the UK in 2011 when he discussed child abuse offences.
Last year, he communicated online with a male South Australian police officer posing as a woman.
Officers searched the man's home in the Sydney CBD yesterday and found child pornography on computers and storage devices.
He was not at home at the time but presented himself to police this morning.
