Two men have turned up to a Sydney hospital with gunshot wounds.
Police were called when the men admitted themselves to Fairfield Hospital's emergency department for wounds to their shoulders on Monday night.
It appears the men were driven to the hospital by another man.
Both men remain in a stable condition and police are investigating.
Meanwhile neighbours on a north shore street have reported hearing gunshots on Monday night.
Police arrived at Edinburgh Road, Willoughby and found a car parked in the street with a shattered front window, consistent with a shot being fired.
Police have not linked the two incidents.
