Young doctors train for country practice - The Australian



GROWING up in the sleepy town of Tumut in the NSW Riverina district, James Kelly was acutely aware of the shortfalls in regional medical services.



It's something the UNSW's Rural Clinical School was set up to address more than a decade ago, and the school - where Kelly is now a fifth-year student at its Port Macquarie campus - has this week taken a major step towards making medical education more accessible to young people from regional Australia.
