THE NSW government is banking on an unprecedented spike of up to 93 per cent in international business delegate arrivals over the next 10 years to support plans for a multi-billion-dollar convention and exhibition complex it will unveil today.
Infrastructure NSW is seeking planning approval for the complex, to be developed on 20ha at Sydney's Darling Harbour, which will increase available convention space from 27,200sq m to 40,000sq m, in addition to the 21,600sq m of convention space already available at Sydney Olympic Park.
