Shots were fired during an armed robbery at a busy Sydney shopping centre this morning.
Several police cars have blocked Bay Street at Broadway, south of the CBD, as officers scour the streets.
Police say they were called to the Broadway Shopping Centre shortly before 8:30am (AEDT).
Four men armed with guns attempted to hold up two men transporting cash from an armoured vehicle.
Police have confirmed at least one shot was fired.
Paramedics were called and assessed one person, but no treatment was necessary.
The hunt is now on for the four men involved who, witnesses say, sped off in a car.
