APN News & Media's new chairman, Peter Cosgrove, is used to people confusing him with the former general and Defence chief.
But the confusion took new heights this week when the 58-year-old Irish-born Cosgrove, a Sydney-based international businessman, suddenly found himself appointed chairman of the company and The Sydney Morning Herald's website declared him the 65-year-old retired general, replete with photo of the other Cosgrove in his Digger's hat.
