A PEEK education union has slammed the University of Western Sydney for buying 11,000 iPads, saying they should put courses ahead of Apple's iconic tablet device.
The National Tertiary Education Union said the university had just axed language courses in Arabic, Italian and Spanish yet had funds to offer free iPads to students and staff, at an estimated cost of at least $3 million.
